How do I add payment methods for payments and refunds?

You can modify the Payment Methods that are available when recording a payment or refund

Smartphone

  1. From the main screen, select Settings
  2. Select Manage System Lists
  3. Select Payment Methods.
  4. Tap the + icon to add a new payment method.
  5. Select a Method Type. "Cash" will not prompt for further information on the payment. "Credit Card" will prompt for credit card details. "Check" will prompt for a check number.
  6. Tap the Checkmark to save your changes.

Windows PC

  1. From the Main Screen, select Settings.
  2. Select Payment Methods from the Payment section.
  3. To add a new payment method, select New and enter the description.
  4. Select a Method Type. "Cash" will not prompt for further information on the payment. "Credit Card" will prompt for credit card details. "Check" will prompt for a check number.
  5. To edit a payment method, select the payment method and click Edit.
  6. Close the Categories screen and then the Settings screen  to save your changes.
  7. For the changes to take effect on your mobile device, select Sync from the menu on the main screen of the Street Invoice app.
